Music on Main 2026 presents Empire Strikes Brass

Music on Main is back for another summer of fun! Bring a chair, or just your dancin’ shoes, and meet us on Main Street for a night to remember! Empire Strikes Brass is a dynamic BrassFunkRock band from Asheville, North Carolina, known for high-energy live shows, deep grooves, and powerful horn-driven arrangements. Blending New Orleans brass traditions with funk, rock, and jam influences, ESB delivers explosive originals and reimagined covers with a larger-than-life sound.

A staple at festivals and venues across the USA, Empire Strikes Brass has shared stages with artists such as Shpongle Live Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Papadosio, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Andy Frasco and the UN, and Petey Pablo. Their live performances are immersive, high-impact experiences built on driving grooves and brass-fueled energy.
