The Arts Councils of Alleghany, Ashe, Watauga, and Wilkes are pleased to announce a grant awards program just for artists. The Regional Artist Project of Northwest North Carolina offers competitive grants to artists living in these four counties. WE are excited to be able to offer funding to individuals and it is done with a Regional Artist Project Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council, a state agency.

Blue Ridge Read (BR Read) is an initiative of Alleghany Arts Council that encourages reading and community-oriented conversations and activities around a featured novel.
