Mural RFP Application

A complete application must include:


1. This application form.

2. $35.00 application fee.

3. Current CV/Resume of artist(s)

4. Copy of a valid NC Driver's License or ID.

5. Preliminary design concept narrative, describing how it relates to the theme of "Agriculture Heritage of Alleghany County".

6. A color representation of the proposed mural, based on provided dimensions saved as JPG or PDF.

7. A minimum of three (3) and no more than five (5) high resolution JPG images of previous relevant mural work, accompanied by information on dimensions, materials, budget and location of work.

8. Provide specific information on the following (refer to specifications in Call for Artist Proposals)

A. name and brand of material(s) to be used, and source of materials
B. method to be used to prepare panels for painting the mural
C. methods used to seal edges of mural boards
D.methods used to protect and seal mural from weather and graffiti
E. timeline for completion

10. Comprehensive itemized budget.

I further certify that all statements made in this application are true to the best of my knowledge. I understand that the Alleghany County Arts Council may make duplicates of my images and application materials for the purpose of the consideration of my application.
